I need to refer to a couple of Greek mythological characters, probably between fire, luck, underworld and beauty. Two characters that have a lot of power and will make an interesting read. Suggestions are welcome.
Does it have to be Greek? It sounds like your ideas could work well with an original pantheon.
But for fire there's Prometheus, and technically underworld might be Nyx (although she's more into nighttime than outright death). I appreciate the "standard" pantheon and what it stands for in the building and sustaining of classical civilization, but the protogenoi and the titans are also pretty cool.

For now, I need to concentrate on Greek mythology but this also looks interesting. I will keep this in mind in case I decide to write something different. Thanks for sharing.
So basic you need to do research on the Gods and their relationships to each other and if they are antagonists to each other or due to the compliment each other.
I find the mythology of different cultures and similar characters very interesting. The part that the Gods played in people's life and the importance, in the culture and everyday life.
