Do you prefer straight forward titles or mysterious titles that don't reveal the story at all? Whenever I have to choose a title, I go through this dilemma. I spend a good amount of time in deciding the title.
I think that a title should be not too difficult to remember, as then you would not be able to ask for the title or after it is written. So that is why is searching
a title might also have keywords that are necessary.
It depends on the story. I tend to like a title that gives you an idea of what the story is about without giving away key details if that makes sense. I also like one-word titles as well because it stands out more in my mind.
A balance of both is my favorite, or a slight nod at one of the more common elements of my book
